Izzy Bernstein was born in Scottsdale, Arizona and currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts, where she attends Northeastern University. A candidate for a BS in Criminal Justice and Journalism, with a minor in Psychology, Izzy spends her time writing articles about psychology and popular media, as well as wondering why the hell she is still studying Criminal Justice.

Outside of her classes, Izzy works for her campus’ fashion and culture magazine, The Avenue, as the Lifestyle editor. She has written numerous articles for their print issues as well as their website. She holds a position on the magazine’s Executive Board, working with other creatives to publish a bi-annual hardcopy of the magazine.

In her free time, Izzy can be found reading, playing tennis, practicing yoga, shopping (maybe a little too much?), writing in her diary, gossiping with her roommates, or making horrible decisions when it comes to men.
